Terms for paid plans
Searching Near Fine and five alerts are free. These terms cover the paid plans, Plus and Pro, which Line of Flight B.V. in Amsterdam sells. Write to [email protected] with any question.
What you get
Each alert searches the booksellers that fit it and emails you when a new listing turns up that has everything the alert asks for. Plus keeps 50 alerts going and checks each every 6 hours; Pro keeps 300 and checks each every hour. eBay is checked every 6 hours at most, whatever the plan, until eBay lets us ask it more often.
We search as well as the booksellers let us, but we can’t promise to find every listing, and a listing can be wrong about the book it offers. When you buy, you buy from the bookseller, on its terms.
Paying
Plus costs €4 a month or €40 a year, and Pro €12 a month or €120 a year. It’s the same in pounds and US dollars. In Canadian and Australian dollars, Plus is 6 a month or 60 a year, and Pro 18 or 180. Prices include VAT. Stripe takes the payment in advance, and the plan renews at the end of each month or year until you cancel.
Changing and cancelling
Change or cancel your plan from your account, in Stripe’s billing portal. A plan you cancel runs to the end of the month or year you paid for, and isn’t refunded for the time left, except as the next section says. When it ends, your alerts beyond five are paused rather than deleted, and a new plan starts them again. A change of plan takes effect at once: moving up charges the difference for the rest of the month or year straight away, and moving down leaves a credit for later payments.
Your right to withdraw
If you live in the EU or the UK and buy as a consumer, you can withdraw from a plan within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Because you ask for your plan to start straight away, we refund what you paid less the share for the days you had it. To withdraw, write to [email protected].
Changes
We email you at least 30 days before a price or these terms change. A new price applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before it does.
Ending an account
You can delete your account at any time, which cancels your plan. We may close an account that’s used to copy our results in bulk or that otherwise abuses the service, and refund the time left on its plan.
Responsibility
As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer by law. Dutch law applies, and consumers keep the protection of the law where they live.
